Another Russian officer fled to Lithuania

Lieutenant Ivan Korolev illegally crossed the border of Lithuania, managed to get to Vilnius and was detained by operatives of the Lithuanian border service at the Vilnius bus station on August 10, writes BBC Russian Service.

After being detained in Vilnius, the serviceman was returned to the border checkpoint, where he stayed for another day and from where he was able to contact BBC special correspondent Ilya Barabanov.

“On August 3, I decided to leave the Russian Federation due to the fact that I did not want to take part in the bloody war that my state unleashed. At the moment I am in the Republic of Lithuania, where I asked for political asylum,” said Ivan Korolev.

“I took part in the NWO, but I was all this time on the territory of the Russian Federation. I have not been on the territory of Ukraine,” the officer says. – We were engaged in providing Russian troops with ammunition. We received ammunition from all over Russia, from all units, from all arsenals and distributed them to brigades, units directly to Ukraine.”

The BBC does not currently have independent confirmation of this information.

An application from an artillery officer who was “deputy head of the warehouse of the accounting and operational department of the field artillery warehouse” was accepted for consideration on August 11, after which he was sent to the migration center in Pabrade, where he will be while the Lithuanian authorities consider his application.
