Economist Tadevos Avetisyan, a member of the “Armenia” faction of the RA National Assembly, published an article addressing the promises regarding economic growth and investments.

The indicator of economic activity in Armenia increased by less than half of what was promised, by 4.9 percent. Compared to the index of the previous month, it decreased by 0.3 percentage points.
By the way, the economy in neighboring Georgia grew by double digits, around 12 percent.
The net inflow of total foreign investment was only 280 million US dollars, and the net inflow of foreign direct investment was 85.7 million US dollars. The billions of dollars that were promised are a fraction less.
During this period, there is also a double-digit (12 percent) increase of about 1 billion US dollars. It is the state debt of Armenia.
