The universal Child Allowance (AUH) in Argentina will increase to $122,443.89 per child in December 2025, reflecting a 2.3% adjustment tied to the latest inflation figures released by the INDEC. The 2.3% increase, resolute by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for October, will be applied to all social benefits administered by ANSES, including retirements and pensions.According to official data, the adjusted AUH amount of $122,443.89 per child will be disbursed starting December 10th, alongside other family allowances.
“this automatic update mechanism, synchronized with the inflation index reported by INDEC, is crucial for protecting the purchasing power of beneficiaries,” a senior official stated.
Expanded Support for Families and Vulnerable Populations
Beyond the AUH,the December adjustment extends to other vital social programs. The Pregnancy Allowance (AUE) will rise to $115,600 per child, paid in installments with 80% disbursed monthly and the remaining 20% at year-end upon submission of required documentation.
the Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM) will reach $272,597.08, while non-contributory pensions for disability and old age will be updated to $238,522.44. Mothers of seven children will receive a benefit equivalent to the minimum retirement pension.
Eligibility and access to the Universal Child Allowance
The AUH is designed to support mothers, fathers, or guardians of minors under 18 who are unemployed, informally employed, or work in domestic service. The benefit is also extended to dependent individuals with disabilities, irrespective of age, provided they meet ANSES requirements.
To receive the full AUH payment, beneficiaries must present the AUH Booklet, demonstrating school attendance and health check-ups for the children. This process can now be completed digitally through the “Mi Anses” platform using the CUIL and Social Security Code, streamlining access to benefits.

The potential addition of an exceptional bonus of $70,000 woudl bring the total to $410,746.35,alongside a half bonus of $170,373 for minimum salary beneficiaries. Those receiving the maximum retirement benefit will see their income rise to $2,292,900.39, with the addition of the half bonus.
Furthermore, the PUAM could reach $342,597.08 with the $70,000 bonus, while non-contributory pensions could increase to $308,522.44. Pensions for mothers of seven children would also benefit from the bonus, reaching $410,746.35.
Though, all these values remain subject to confirmation of the continuation of these extraordinary bonuses typically granted alongside minimum retirements and pensions.
