Tehran: Iran hangs two anti-hijab protesters

Anti-Hijab Protest: The anti-hijab protests in Iran intensified in September last year following the death of a young woman named Masha Amini. More than 300 people lost their lives in this protest that lasted for more than three months. Up to 15,000 people were arrested. Iran announced the death penalty for many of the protestors. However, the official number of these is not yet known. Also, 400 of the protesters have been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
