Producer Antony Perumbavoor has said that ‘Maraikkar’ directed by Priyadarshan and starring Mohanlal will be released in 50 days after its theatrical release. Antony Perumbavoor said that discussions are underway in this regard and it is likely to be released on ODT 50 days before the theatrical release. He was talking to a channel about the release of the film.
‘Seeing Marakkar in the cinema theater is the greatest desire and excitement of the Malayalees. Definitely glad to hear that support from the audience. The film will be released on OT 50 days before its theatrical release to reach more audiences. Negotiations are underway for that, ‘said Antony Perumbavoor.

Director Priyadarshan had earlier said that this is the most expensive film of his life. Mohanlal had earlier said that the film will hit the screens after its theatrical release. He said in an interview that the controversy erupted before deciding where to release the film and that is why he did not comment on the matter.
‘I’m a businessman. At a cost of Rs 100 crore, Rs 105 crore is expected. The contract with ODT was signed only after the theatrical release was decided. That is why the film will be released immediately, ‘said Mohanlal.

Directed by Priyadarshan and starring Mohanlal in the lead role, Marakkar has a budget of Rs 100 crore. The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor, Santosh T Kuruvila and Roy CJ under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas. The film also stars Manju Warrier, Sunil Shetty, Prabhu and Keerthi Suresh in other important roles. Anil Sasi and Priyadarshan have penned the script for the film. The film is shot by Tamil cinematographer Thirunavakarasu.
