Kolkata musician Anupam Roy ended his 6-year marriage with Pia Chakraborty in 2021. Last year it was rumored that Anupam was in a relationship with singer Prasmita Pal. An Indian media reported that Anupam and Prasmita Pal will get married on March 2. They will solemnize the legal marriage in the presence of two family members.
Prasmita Pal said in an interview given to this Indian media, ‘Since we are in the same profession, I have known him (Anupam Roy) for many years. We are in relationship for last one year. But we never wanted it to be discussed. After that, I feel like I can take the relationship to the next level, and then I decide to get married.’
After the news of Anupam and Prasmita’s marriage came to light, this couple fell under the trolls. In this regard, Prasmita said, ‘I think if two people are happy in a relationship, then nothing bad can affect it. We are starting a new journey. If everyone around us is good, we will be good too.’
