The investigators of the RA Investigative Committee and the employees of the RA National Security Service are carrying out joint operations in the RA Ministry of Economy and in the apartments of a number of people. The information was given to “Sputnik Armenia” by Gor Abrahamyan, the press spokesman of the RA Investigative Committee.
“With two different criminal proceedings carried out in the Main Department of the Investigation of Crimes Against the State, Fundamentals of the Constitutional Order and Public Security of the RA Investigative Committee and the Main Department with Special Assignments, the investigators of the RA Investigative Committee and the employees of the RA National Security Service are jointly carrying out urgent investigative and other large-scale judicial actions” Abrahamyan said.
He informed that searches are being carried out in the Ministry of Economy and in the apartments of a number of people, more than 15 places in total.
Earlier, we reported that the RA National Security Service is conducting investigative operations in the department.
Yesterday, Ani Ispiryan, who was dismissed from the position of deputy minister, and the head of the Department of Public Investments, Lilya Sirakanyan, were taken into custody.
