Apple has promised to fix the problem with unlocking new iPhones from the watch

Some iPhone 13 owners have lost the ability to unlock their phone from their Apple Watch after upgrading to iOS 15, Apple said. The company noted that it will fix the problem along with an upcoming system update.

“Apple has determined that Apple Watch Unlock may not work with iPhone 13 devices … This issue will be addressed in a future system update,” the Apple Support site says.

The ability to unlock phones with the Face ID facial recognition system from Apple Watch appeared in April 2020 and allows you to use your phone without removing your mask.

iPhone 13 in four variations went on sale in Russia this week. M.Video-Eldorado, Svyaznoy and other retailers noted an increase in the number of pre-orders compared to last year’s models.
