Apple presented on April 2, 2024 new firmware for its flagship AirPods Max headphones. This was reported by MacRumors, Day.Az reports with reference to Gazeta.ru.

The new software version received build number 6A325. For comparison, the version released in January is numbered 6A324.

Apple traditionally does not provide details about what features may be included in the updated firmware, so, as MacRumors writes, the changes can only be guessed at. At the same time, all we know for sure is that the update is aimed at correcting “some bugs.”

Apple also doesn’t provide instructions on how to update the software on AirPods Max. MacRumors writes that the firmware is usually installed “over-the-air” when AirPods are paired with an iOS device or Mac.

Using an iPhone, you can check for new firmware for AirPods Max by opening “Settings”, going to the “General” menu and then activating the “About Software” item and paying attention to the firmware version in the AirPods line.
