HiFi Rose installed Apple Music on their devices. This makes the Koreans one of the first manufacturers to use this official interface. There’s only one catch.

Apple likes to cook his own soup. Even fans don’t always get enough of it. Apple Music subscribers consume their favorite songs exclusively on their own devices such as iPhone, iPad or Apple TV. The music only flows on third-party devices if they have integrated Airplay. Of course, Bluetooth also works in an emergency, but not everyone likes it. It could be so easy. Many audio manufacturers offer a comprehensive menu of streaming services such as Spotify, Qobuz or Tidal, whose services are installed on the devices themselves. The advantage: network players and other devices fetch the data directly from the server of the services and play it.

In addition to the Soundbar Ray from Sonos, we have now discovered another device with the RS 250 from HiFi Rose, which has integrated Apple Music in addition to the usual streaming services. The Koreans offer it on all their devices. So far, Apple Music has only been integrated into the infotainment system of some car manufacturers. This interface in the software is officially available, only Apple makes it difficult for companies to integrate it, such as on Android, which runs as the operating system on HiFi Rose’s devices. In any case, with the SDK (Software Development Kit) officially made available by Apple at the end of last year, the developers of HiFi Rose had some trouble integrating Apple Music on the devices. Because customers have always wanted that, the Koreans didn’t give up.
