New Delhi: American iPhone manufacturing company Apple opened two stores in India last year in Delhi and Mumbai. The company is now preparing to open four more stores in India. These stores will be in Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi and Mumbai. Along with this, it has started manufacturing all versions of the recently launched iPhone 16 in India. The company has started manufacturing iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models in India. This is the first time that the company is producing the entire lineup of iPhones in India. The number of iPhone users in India is continuously increasing but currently there are only two stores in the country. Their number is 271 in the US, 47 in China, 40 in the UK and 28 in Canada. Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of retail, said in a statement that our stores are incredible places to experience the magic of Apple and India It has been wonderful to grow our relationship with our customers. We are excited to build our teams as we plan to open more stores in India. We are inspired by the creativity and passion of our customers in India. Apple said the Pro models made in India will be available to domestic customers and will also be exported.
