Ruben Hayrapetyan, the former president of the Football Federation of Armenia, gave a comment to Aysor.am regarding the elections of the FFA president.
Aysor.am asked the former president of the FFA to comment on what he thinks about the candidacy of Aras Ozbiliz, the former football player of the Armenian national team, and whether there will be fair elections.
Ruben Hayrapetyan stated that he regrets that Aras Ozbiliz is participating in the conspiracies.
“I am very sorry that Aras participates in the intrigues of an intriguer of unknown origin like Jivan (Urartu football club owner-president Jevan Cheloyants-ed.),” Hayrapetyan said in a conversation with Aysor.am.
According to him, the current president of the FFA, Armen Melikbekyan, is not legitimate.
“First of all, let me tell you that Armenchik is not legitimate, because he did not have the right to participate in the last election, he was elected in violation of the regulations. Aras is a very good person and football player, he deserves everything, but I regret that he participates in this clowning without understanding. That’s all,” added the former president of the Football Federation.
To remind, two candidates have been nominated for the election of the president of the Football Federation of Armenia: the current president Armen Melikbekyan and Aras Ozbiliz.
The elections will be held on December 23.
