After Marakkar, the much awaited Mohanlal movie Arat will be released on February 10. Mohanlal’s character Neyyattinkara Gopan has already attracted a lot of attention in the film. Now another piece of good news related to this movie is coming out. According to the latest reports, the film has secured satellite sales with Asianet for Rs 12 crore. This is the second largest deal after Marakkar.
The film is being directed by B. Unnikrishnan with a budget of Rs 18 crore. The film also features Uday Krishna writing the screenplay for Mohanlal after Puli Murugan. Another highlight of the Arat is the Benz car with the number in the dialogue of Mohanlal’s hit movie ‘My Phone Number Is 2255’. The film revolves around the arrival of Gopan in a village in Palakkad from Neyyattinkara.
Shraddha Srinath is the heroine. Other important actors are Swasika, Malavika, Johnny Antony and Nedumudi Venu.
