by time news

The head of the Beit El Council, Shai Alon, signed an agreement to install and supply high-speed Internet on fiber optics with the Net-Fiber project. The ceremonial signing ceremony held at Beit El was attended by X-Fiber CEO Israel Elitzur and Yariv Peer, CEO of Internet Rimon.

As part of the agreement, in the coming weeks the locality will make an early registration of residents who will be interested in connecting to the new fiber infrastructure. Within a few months, members of the Net-Fiber project will begin deploying fiber to the locality, with residents interested in connecting to the fiber-optic infrastructure, enjoying high speeds of up to 1 GB as well as advanced end-to-end equipment that will enable strong Wi-Fi reception. Joiners will also be able to choose the option of filtered internet at a discounted price.

Beit El Council Chairman Shai Alon: “We are pleased to bring the news of fiber optics to Beit El. Together with Net-Fiber we hope to provide fast and quality surfing for residents who will enjoy the most advanced technology and can also choose a filtered Internet that will maintain proper content when using a computer. “As part of the overall strategy of upgrading the infrastructure in the council, it is an integral part of the aspiration to become the capital of Benjamin in quality and quantity.”

Yariv Peer, CEO of Internet Rimon: “A little over half a year ago, we launched the project together with Telran and X-Fiber, entities that specialize in infrastructure and familiarity with Judea and Samaria in order to form a strong group that will bring technological innovation to every community, no matter how far away.” I thank the head of the council, Shai Alon, and his staff who worked to bring the good news to the residents of Beit El. We at Rimon are prepared to provide a filtered and protected Internet that will run on the optical fibers and allow for smoother and safer surfing. “
