In And the party continues, the popular cinema couple, notably known for the film Marius and Jeannette (1997), addresses the themes of poor housing, hospitals and exiles. “The film is a call not to give in, not to think that collective action is useless”, specified Robert Guédiguian. Ariane Ascaride plays in the feature film the character of Rosa, a mother and caregiver who politically campaigns for the union of the left in Marseille.
Lola Naymark, Jean-Pierre Darroussin and Robinson Stévenin are in the casting of And the party continues. Robert Guédiguian’s film will be released in theaters on November 15.
