Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Deman Mohamed Hammar presented his credentials to the President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan.
President Vahagn Khachaturyan congratulated the ambassador and wished him success. “Armenia and Mauritania have all prerequisites for cooperation. I hope that your appointment will contribute to the development of relations between our two countries, and we are ready to provide you with all support in this matter,” the president noted.
The newly appointed ambassador thanked for the reception and noted that he will do everything possible for further expansion and development of bilateral relations.
At the meeting, issues related to the identification and realization of potential for cooperation in the fields of interest to both countries were discussed.
Further promotion of existing cooperation within the framework of various international organizations and similar platforms was emphasized on both sides.
During the conversation, ideas were exchanged regarding taking steps towards revitalizing cooperation in political, economic, educational and cultural and other fields.
