In 2022, Armenia provided a loan of 176 billion drams to Artsakh, which was higher than planned, Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan said in the National Assembly.

According to him, support of such volume has never been provided to Nagorno Karabakh.

in 2022 the budget was implemented with a deficit of 179.5 billion drams instead of the planned 22.9 billion drams. Speaking about the financing of the deficit, he said that the plan for the issuance of state bonds has been fulfilled in full – 252 billion drams.

165 billion AMD loans were received from international organizations.

“We have repaid about 100 billion drams. The loan provided to Artsakh amounted to 176 billion drams, which was also higher than planned, since such support has never been provided to Nagorno Karabakh. As a result, we have a state debt, which as of December 31 amounted to 4 trillion 186 billion drams, and expressed in dollars – 10 billion 637 million dollars,” Hovhannisyan said.
