Hakob Vardanyan, Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Armenia, received the delegation led by the General Secretary of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (SECO) Lazar Komianescu.

Lazar Komianescu thanked for the reception and emphasized the importance of the organization in the energy infrastructure sector of Armenia, considering 2022 as an important year to achieve the set goals.

Hakob Vardanyan, congratulating Lazar Komyanescu on assuming a high and responsible position, wished further success and effective work for the benefit of the organization and member countries.

The deputy minister also spoke about effective cooperation in the energy sector with the neighboring countries, Georgia and Iran. it is planned to deeply develop the cooperation and increase the volumes several times in the coming years.

As a country of the CSTO Energy Working Group, Armenia is trying to promote cooperation among member states to implement the provisions of the CSTO.

During the meeting, other issues of bilateral sectoral interest were also discussed.
