The Acting Minister of the RA KGSMS is full of hope that one competition platform and a set of 20 barbells, 10 each for men and women, will help weightlifters to conduct more effective training.
“For the joy of all of us, our weightlifters will train with sports equipment that meets international standards. This is an important step on the way to future victories. We will continue to do our best for our athletes to achieve higher results. I’m sure they will give us many reasons to be proud,” said Vahram Dumanyan and assured that the athletes will always feel the support of the state.
According to Karen Giloyan, the Deputy Minister of Sports Education, the new sports equipment will be used not only by the collective teams, but also by a number of sports schools.
“Sports equipment will also be distributed among those sports schools that really prepare good personnel for the national team and record high results. This amount of sports property is enough to solve the main problems, and for the future we have a big property program and we plan to make the process continuous.”

The head coach of the team also informed that in the 32nd Summer Olympics, Armenian representatives Simon Martirosyan (109 kg) and Isabella Yailyan (59 kg) will train in the licensed “Eleiko” brand sportswear for the games before leaving for Tokyo, and they will have no problem adapting to the new sportswear in the capital of Japan. have
