## Dhaka Court Issues Arrest Warrant for Actress Moushumi
A Dhaka court has issued an arrest warrant for Moushumi, a popular actress known for her roles in Dhakai movies. The warrant was issued in connection with a check dishonor case involving a financial institution. Summons were previously sent to her Bashundhara residence on April 28th, but she failed to appear in court. The court has scheduled October 16th for the filing of a report related to the arrest.
Moushumi has been residing in the United States with her daughter for over a year. Her husband, actor Omar Sani, has spoken out about the matter. He expressed his belief that the case is unfairly targeting Moushumi, despite numerous other debtors with far greater debts remaining unpunished.
Omar Sani claimed that Moushumi took out a loan for a Mercedes but was unable to make the payments after leaving the country. He alleged that the financial institution continued to send her letters despite his attempts to explain the situation. He believes the institution is unfairly singling out Moushumi for a relatively small debt.
