Arsenal long for Gabriel
The first 45 minutes of this great game at the Emirates Stadium end. Arsenal goes into the locker room with a two-goal advantage from the same protagonist, Gabriel Magalhaes. The Gunners knew how to take advantage of their aerial power, with the Brazilian defender as their flagship. Two goals from a corner kick ended up destroying a Palace strategy that was failing almost from the opening whistle.
Arsenal controlled the game almost from start to finish, with almost no dangerous chances. The only time, a mid-range shot from Lerma, David Raya kept his clean sheet with a popcorn for the newspaper library. Mikel Arteta comes out happy with a seamless first half and an eye-catching game.
