An event aimed at highlighting the importance and value of art in mental health is being held by the Konitsa Boarding School “Nostos” of the Society for Psychosocial Research and Intervention – E.P.E.P., in collaboration with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Primary Schools Conitsas.
As part of the event, there will be an exhibition of paintings by students of the 5th and 6th grade of Konitsa Primary Schools, which reflect their own perspective on the importance and value of mental health in our lives. Visitors will have the opportunity to see and be inspired by the children’s creative expression.
Alongside the exhibition, there will be informative talks by mental health professionals on the importance of art as a means of self-expression and healing. Also, as part of the event, an experiential workshop will be held in collaboration with students of the School of Fine Arts of the University of Ioannina. The workshop will enable participants to explore their creative expression through the art of painting.
