The GHI Le Raincy-Montfermeil, a local hospital center with 607 beds and places across two establishments – the Montfermeil hospital and the Ormes hospital – is dedicated to serving the current health needs of the community. The hospital offers comprehensive medical care, including nephrology, neurology, diabetes treatment, internal medicine, and intensive care, as well as a full spectrum of surgical specialties like orthopedic, digestive, and vascular procedures.

Specialized Care and Expanding Services

Beyond general medical and surgical services, the hospital has notably developed specialties in medical and surgical oncology, gastroenterology, cardiology, pulmonology, rheumatology, and geriatrics. This is supported by a robust technical platform for radiotherapy, nuclear medicine, and endoscopy, alongside a significant follow-up care service. The hospital also provides therapeutic education programs for conditions like gestational diabetes, diabetes-obesity, inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn’s and UC), and asthma, tailored for adolescents and adults.

Recognizing evolving patient needs, the GHI Le Raincy-Montfermeil is diversifying its care delivery methods. These now include outpatient services, day hospitalization, home hospitalization, full hospitalization, and increasingly, telemedicine and teleconsultation. Furthermore, the hospital is strengthening its collaborations with city-hospital partnerships, exemplified by the opening of an on-call medical center near the hospital.

Community Partnership and Health Equity

The commitment to community health was formalized with the signing of the 3rd generation Local Health Contract in November 2019. This agreement underscores the collaborative relationship between the city and the hospital, working together to combat social inequalities and promote equal access to prevention and care systems. These efforts encompass physical health, mental health, hygiene, nutrition, perinatal monitoring, and addressing health issues related to housing.
