Asian Cup Cricket: Pakistan beat Bangladesh to qualify for India-Sri Lanka final

India and Sri Lanka have qualified for the finals of the 2021 Asian Under-19 Series.

The Under-19 Asian Cup kicks off on December 23, 2021 in the United Arab Emirates.

A total of 8 teams are participating in the tournament. The 8 teams were divided into two groups and played in the group round.

At the end of the group stage, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh advanced to the semi-finals.

Sri Lanka-Pakistan clashed in a semi-final today (December 30) at the ICC Academy – Oval 1.

In this, Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan by 22 runs and qualified for the final.

Meanwhile, India-Bangladesh clashed in another semi-final today, December 30 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

In this, India defeated Bangladesh by 103 runs and qualified for the final.

India-Sri Lanka will clash in the final of the 2021 Asian Under-19 Series to be held tomorrow, December 31 at the Dubai International Stadium.

India has won the Under-19 Asian Cup a maximum of 6 times, having been held 8 times since 1989.

Afghanistan have won once, with the trophy being distributed to India and Pakistan in 2012 after the final ended in a draw.

Fans in both countries are eagerly awaiting whether Sri Lanka will win its first Asian Cup by defeating India in tomorrow’s final or whether India will beat Sri Lanka to retain the trophy for the 7th time.
