At 8:30 pm today, Friday, our Olympic team will face its Vietnamese counterpart for the quarter-finals of the Asian Under-23 Championship held in Qatar.
The correspondent of the (INA) reported, “Our Iraqi Olympic team will meet its Vietnamese counterpart this evening in an important match that cannot be divided into two to determine who qualifies for the semi-finals of the tournament.”
He added, “Our Olympic team coach, Radhi Shenaishil, confirmed in the press conference for the match that will be held at Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah that the Iraqi team is in good technical condition that qualifies it to present a strong match despite the difficulty of the task.”
It is noteworthy that our national team had concluded its preparations for this match at the transmission complex in the Qatari capital, Doha, yesterday, Wednesday, by conducting training exercises that included many different playing situations on the defensive and offensive sides.”
