Asif Ali’s latest film is “Mahesh and Maruti”. The film directed by Sethu will hit the theaters from this Friday. The film has been given a Clean U certificate by the Censor Board. Mamta Mohandas will be the heroine in the movie “Maheshum Marutiyum”. Also the 1984 model Maruti 800 car is a central character in the film.
The film is produced by Maniyanpillai Raju under the banner of Maniyanpillai Raju Productions and VSL Film House. The main feature of Mahesh and Maruthi is that Mamta Mohandas and Asif Ali are coming together after a long gap. Both of them acted together in the 2010 film Katha Varadam. The film was directed by Sathyan Anthikad. And after the hit films ‘Kooman’ and ‘Kappa’, Asif Ali will play the lead role in ‘Maheshum Marutiyum’. The booking of the film has already started.
