In tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Ask the Stars’ (written by Seo Sook-hyang/directed by Park Shin-woo), which will be broadcast for the first time at 9:20 pm on January 4, 2025, photos of the daily lives of astronauts in a space station with a commuting distance of 200,000 km are shown. has been revealed, raising expectations for their story even more.
‘Ask the Stars’ is a drama depicting the life outside of Earth between Eve (played by Gong Hyo-jin), a boss working at a zero-gravity space station, and Dinosaur (played by Lee Min-ho), an uninvited guest with a secret mission. It heralds the birth of Korea’s first space office drama and is considered one of tvN’s most anticipated works in the first half of 2025.
The released photos show various things that astronauts experience from the moment they leave Earth to after arriving at the space station. Since this is a space station that can only be reached by penetrating the atmosphere, the sight of tourist dinosaurs and Commander Eve Kim wearing heavy spacesuits and concentrating on launch preparations attracts attention.
Since the space station arrived by spacecraft in this way is in a state of microgravity with almost no gravity, meals, exercise, and research are carried out in slightly different ways than on Earth. Space scientists Mina Lee (Lee Cho-hee) and Lee Seung-jun (Heo Nam-joon) are eating space food in a vacuum state tied to a tray to protect the space station filled with various machines, while Eve Kim is studying the organisms inside the device.
You can also see a dinosaur preparing to exercise while wearing a belt to keep his body from floating, and Kang Kang-soo (played by Oh Jeong-se) swimming outside the space station in a space suit, giving an idea of the daily routine of astronauts. Accordingly, we are becoming more curious about the daily lives of astronauts who spend 24 hours performing assigned missions at the space station.
In this way, ‘Ask the Stars’ is expected to provide pleasant and fresh entertainment through the ups and downs of life outside the Earth of dinosaurs, Eve Kim, Kang Kang-soo, Minna Lee, and Lee Seung-jun, who are just living in a universe with microgravity where everything is 0 grams. I’m already looking forward to the first broadcast to see what will happen to the astronauts in the middle of the vast universe.
‘Ask the Stars’, which shows the daily lives of astronauts who go to work at the space station with a commuting distance of 200,000 km, will be broadcast for the first time on January 4th at 9:20 PM.
