A Broad Scope of Inspections
Led by Stefano Termite, director of the Prevention Department, and coordinated by Giampiero Campo, the SISP’s activities extended throughout the entire provincial territory. The team ensured consistent interventions and maintained high standards of safety and quality. Throughout the year, inspections were conducted in health and social care facilities, residential and semi-residential settings, offices and clinics of health professionals, gyms, swimming facilities, bathing establishments, and equipped beaches.
Preventative Measures at the Forefront
The inspection process prioritized a preventative, educational, and corrective approach. Rather than simply enforcing rules, the SISP aimed to minimize risks and improve sanitary and organizational conditions. “The action of the Department,” stated Director Termite, “is based on accompanying the structures towards full regulatory compliance, contributing to the health safety of the territory.”
Beyond scheduled inspections, the SISP responded to reports, complaints, and concerns raised by citizens and organizations. They also handled the necessary checks for issuing authorizations, certifications, and procedures related to SCIA.
Accommodation and Agritourism Facilities Targeted
A specific control plan was implemented for accommodation and agritourism facilities within the province. The SISP inspected 157 such entities, achieving results that surpassed their initial goals. This targeted approach highlights the commitment to ensuring safe and healthy environments for tourists and residents.
