The film is performing well at the box office

Suresh Gopi’s film Pappan is becoming one of the biggest hits in recent Malayalam cinema. Directed by Joshi and written by RJ Shan, the film collected 31.43 crores worldwide in 10 days. After the Kerala release, the film is getting good response in all the foreign markets where it has been released. Now the makers have released the new successful teaser of the film.
The makers have included a scene in the teaser with ASP Vinci Abraham played by Nita Pillai and CI Soman Nair played by Tiny Tom. Vincy Abraham corrects Soman Nair for speaking ill of a woman while talking to a colleague regarding the investigation of a case. ASP is one of the best roles of Nita Pillai’s career.

This is also a film where Suresh Gopi will play the role of a policeman after a while. The name of the character is Abraham Mathew Mathan. After ‘Salam Kashmiri’, this is the film where Joshi and Suresh Gopi are teaming up. Many of the films released in this combination like Lelam, Patram, Vazhunnore were superhits. Pappan is Joshi’s directorial film after Porinchu Mariam Jose. Gokul Suresh also plays an important role in the film. The film also has the distinction of being the first time both of them will come together. The film is produced by Gokulam Gopalan, David Kachapilly and Rafi Mathira. Gokulam Movies and Dream Big Films are bringing the film to theaters. The crime thriller film also stars Neeta Pillai, Naila Usha, Asha Sarath, Kaniha, Chandunath, Vijayaraghavan, Tiny Tom, Shammi Thilakan and others.
