Founded in 2018, MAD has quickly established itself as a pioneering mixed media platform dedicated to exploring creativity in all its forms – from fashion and design to music and cinema. The organization actively promotes emerging talents and fosters a vibrant creative landscape, reaching a key demographic of 18-35 year olds. Since 2021, MAD has also taken on the editorial management and social media strategy for Madame Figaro, aiming to revitalize the iconic French women’s title and broaden its audience.
Internship Responsibilities: A Hands-On Experiance
The intern will be an integral part of MAD’s media project management team, gaining practical experience across the full project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include supporting the monitoring of partner media operations, from initial brief to final reporting. Specific tasks encompass:
- Project Management: Preparing and leading kickoff meetings, developing targeted media plans and retro-schedules, coordinating creative and editorial teams, and overseeing media coverage with agency trading desks.
- Performance Analysis: Monitoring campaign performance, consolidating end-of-campaign reports, and providing insights to optimize future initiatives.
- Sales Support: participating in sales meetings to review campaigns and track project progress.
- Competitive Intelligence: Conducting weekly creative and competitive monitoring, analyzing the latest campaigns, collaborations, and events to inform editorial and commercial strategies.
The role will provide exposure to a prestigious client roster including industry giants such as Gucci, AMI Paris, Nike, adidas, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Palais de Tokyo, Cartier, Audemars Piguet, and Boucheron.
Ideal Candidate Profile
MAD is seeking a highly motivated and curious individual with a passion for the internet, media, and creative expression. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced habitat.
Specifically, applicants should:
- Demonstrate curiosity and a desire to learn.
- Exhibit a passion for the internet and the media landscape.
- Possess a strong aptitude for words, images, and innovative ideas.
- Be both creative and rigorous, organized and analytical.
- Hold a minimum of a BAC+3 university degree in commerce, advertising, or communications.
- Be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and adaptable to new software.
- Possess excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Experience & Logistics
While not required, prior experience in media, advertising, communications, or digital is considered a plus. The full-time internship is based in Paris 9e and is scheduled to begin on January 1,2026. The position offers a monthly gross remuneration of €600, along with benefits including restaurant vouchers and partial reimbursement of transportation costs (up to 50%).
