Asus officially presented ROG Ally is a production version of a portable game console that will hit the market in 2023.

The novelty received an AMD hybrid processor designed specifically for it – versions with a Ryzen Z1 chip and a more productive version of the Ryzen Z1 Extreme will be available. Both modifications will receive 16 GB of RAM, but the amount of built-in memory will be different – they will offer 256 GB and 512 GB SSDs. It will be possible to increase the volume with microSD memory cards.

ROG Ally is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen IPS display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. For control, joysticks, crosses, buttons, bumpers and triggers are provided, like controllers for PlayStation and Xbox consoles. The console received a 3.5 mm audio jack and a ROG XG Mobile interface for connecting an external video card. The 40Wh battery provides up to two hours of use and supports 65W wired charging.

Sales of Asus ROG Ally will begin on June 13th. The base version is priced at $599 or €699 in the US and Europe, respectively, while the higher-end version of the console is priced at $699 and €799 in the US and European markets, respectively.
