At Baikonur, the spacecraft of the ISS crew was consecrated

At the Baikonur cosmodrome, the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft was consecrated, on which the movie crew will be poisoned on the ISS on October 5. The rite of consecration was carried out by Father Sergiy (Bychkov), the rector of the Church of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious in the city of Baikonur, and he also blessed the members of the film crew.

The film crew consists of actress Yulia Peresild and director Klim Shipenko. They will take part in the filming of the first feature film in space.

There is also a backup crew, which includes cosmonaut Oleg Artemiev, actress Alena Mordovina and cameraman Alexei Dudin.

The tradition of consecrating rockets launched from Baikonur dates back to 2000.
