At least 16 people have died and one million have been affected by the passage of typhoon ‘Doksuri’ through the Philippine archipelago, according to the latest official balance from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

The latest data from the NDRRMC raises to 1,029,794 those affected in Luzon, Western Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Davao, Soccsksargen and Bangsamoro, of which which more than 30,000 have had to leave their homes. In addition, there are 20 missing people and 52 injured.
