Russia’s attack on Ukraine began last Thursday and continues today for the 5th day. Russian forces have been encircling major cities in Ukraine. The capital, Kiev, has been hit by a series of bombings by the Russian military.
The Ukrainian president has also accused Russia of attacking hospitals, schools, residences and ambulances. He also said that Russian forces were committing genocide in Ukraine. As a result of the series of military attacks, Ukrainians are fleeing to neighboring countries, including Poland and Hungary.
