At the Azerbaijan Open Championship and the Baku Open Trampoline Championship, all opportunities have been created for participants to show their skills and perform well.
As Day.Az reports, trampolining coach from Georgia Roza Berikashvili told Trend about this on Thursday.
“I am very glad that trampolining competitions are being held in Azerbaijan, where young gymnasts can take part. 26 athletes came from Georgia to compete. The impressions are wonderful, the organization of the tournament is excellent. I express my gratitude to the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation for a very warm welcome. These competitions are an opportunity to gain great experience,” said Roza Berikashvili.
The Georgian coach also noted the high level of training of Azerbaijani gymnasts. “Soon the World Cup will be held in Baku, where Georgia will be represented by four gymnasts, they will compete for a license for the Olympic Games. The World Cup will be held in the National Gymnastics Arena, there are excellent conditions for competitions,” she added.
It should be noted that the 8th Azerbaijan Open Championship and the Baku Open Trampoline Championship are being held at the Baku Olympic Sports Complex on February 15-16. Participants in the competition are 110 athletes representing the Ojag Sport club, the Specialized Children and Youth School of Olympic Reserve in Gymnastics, as well as the national teams of Kazakhstan, Latvia, Slovenia, Georgia, and the Georgian sports clubs Shevardeni and Batumi.
