Brussels: A 24-year-old woman has been pushed in front of a Metro train in the Belgian capital, Brussels. The girl escaped unhurt as the train stopped abruptly. CCTV footage of the incident went viral online. International media reported that the incident took place last Friday. The woman, who was standing on the platform waiting for the train, was deliberately pushed from behind by the young man in front of the train.
But the girl was not injured as the train stopped immediately. The woman was attacked by a 24-year-old French national. A spokesman for the Brussels Intercommunication Transport Company said the loco pilot had handled the situation well. The young man who attacked the woman and escaped was caught from another metro station. He is being questioned by the police. The girl was admitted to the hospital. Police said they were checking the mental state of the accused.
