On May 1, the meeting of Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeihun Baryamov was held in the US capital Washington.

As reported by the RA Foreign Ministry, issues of the security situation in the region and the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan were discussed.

Reference was made to the humanitarian situation created as a result of the illegal blocking of the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan.
