On December 4, Novy Urengoy will host the All-Russian snowmobile cross-country competition in memory of Andrei Ushakov. This was reported by the administration of the gas capital.
Fans are invited to the technical sports stadium (southern bypass, Gazpromneft gas station area). The competition starts at 11:30.
Participants of the competition: Novy Urengoy – STK Fakel, STK Yamburg, STK Nord. Muravlenko – STK “Mig”, Nadym – STK “Forsage”, National team of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Surgut, Nizhnevartovsk, Krasnoyarsk, Megion, Kirov.
“This event has been held since 1998. Snowmobilers dedicate the start of the season to the memory of a friend. The tragedy that happened in 1999 on a snowmobile track claimed the life of the famous racer – master of sports, multiple champion of Russia Andrey Ushakov, ”the Novy Urengoy administration said.
