Fatorda: ATK Mohun Bagan on the road to victory after a draw in the last two matches. ATK defeated Bengaluru FC by two goals in the Indian Super League (ISL 2021-22). Bagan’s goals were scored by Liston Colaco and Manveer Singh.
Bangalore dominated the match. Bangalore held the ball for most of the time and fired shots. But, contrary to the course of the game, Bagan scored the first goal. Coloco scored in the first half. Afterwards, they parted ways.
In the second half, Bangalore started trying to fight back. Bagana, on the other hand, scored another goal and tried to defend the position. Bagan netted for the second time in the 85th minute. Manveer’s beautiful finish. With this, Bangalore’s hopes came to an end. Bangalore have only one match left in the league. Therefore, Sunil Chhetri and his team will not be able to reach the top four. They have 26 points from 19 games. Bagan is third with 18 points from 18 games.
East Bengal will take on North East United tomorrow. The last two teams are East Bengal and North East. East Bengal are in last place with just 10 points from 18 matches. North East is 10th with 13 points from 19 matches.
