Surrounded by meadows and forest, the Wössner See in the Chiemgau is a small idyll. Above all, its heart shape and the particularly clear water attract bathers. On Friday morning, a woman wanted to enjoy the last hours of summer sunshine and go swimming.
But their trip ended in drama. The swimmer discovered a woman’s body in the reed belt on the northern shore of the lake. It is the daughter-in-law of film producer legend Atze Brauner.
