Auction for Rs. 90 lakh: Kolkata team bought Tamil Nadu player Jagatheesan

16th IPL The mini-auction of the players for the cricket tournament will be held today in Kochi, Kerala. There was fierce competition between teams to buy top players. England’s young player Sam Curran was picked up by Punjab Kings for Rs 18.25 crore. With this, he has set the record for the highest bid in the history of IPL auctions. Australia’s Cameron Greene is in second place. He was bought by the Mumbai Indians for Rs 17.50 crore.

Tamil Nadu player Jagatheesan was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 90 lakh. Similarly, Indian player Nishant Sindhu has been auctioned by the Chennai team for Rs.60 lakhs.

Indian players bought Sanveer Singh for Rs 20 lakh from Hyderabad, Sheikh Rashid from Chennai Super Kings for Rs 20 lakh, Vivrant Sharma from Hyderabad for Rs 2.6 crore and Indian young player Upendra Yadav from Hyderabad for Rs 25 lakh. English player Reece Tapley was bought by Bengaluru for Rs 1.9 crore.
