A plane grounded in France for five days due to suspicions of human trafficking landed on December 26 in Bombay. The passengers on the flight left the plane without making any statements to the press.

A plane coming from Dubaï, in the United Arab Emirates, and bound for Managua, capital of Nicaragua, was immobilized by French authorities on Thursday, December 21st in Vatry, near Paris, during a technical stopover to refuel the plane.
The Paris Public Prosecutor’s Office explained that it had taken the decision following a “anonymous report“according to which the passengers were”likely to be victims of human trafficking“.
Some passengers questioned by the court on Sunday said they had voluntarily boarded the flight and were heading to Managua for tourism reasons. Of the passengers, 27 remained in France, including the two passengers suspected of human trafficking, who walked free on Monday, after being questioned by authorities.
The other twenty-five passengers submitted a request for asylum in France, which will be studied at the Parisian airport of Roissy-Charles de Gaulle, according to authorities.
