Singer Avihu Pankhasov Removed from performances for IDF soldiers several times. Each time the singer asked for another opportunity to perform in front of the soldiers at the front and in the rear, assuring that he would dress accordingly in the performances and make sure that the soldiers observe the IDF’s instructions during the performance. Following the rampage of soldiers at his last performance, the IDF’s cultural branch informed Pankhasov that he was forbidden to continue performing at IDF bases. Pankhasov received with great disappointment the news of his removal, but decided that he would not give up his performances for the soldiers and opened a show for them in Hangar 11 for which he would allocate 1,000 tickets for the amount of only one shekel. In the video he shared, he updated the soldiers and said: “Unfortunately, they kicked us out again, due to, according to them, the rampage of soldiers. So I decided that we will give away 1,000 tickets in the amount of live shekels for the concert on March 29 at Hangar 11, we love you.”
