The country has invited the ruling Awami League from Bangladesh to observe the national elections in India. National elections are being held in seven phases in different states of India. The ruling BJP has invited some foreign political parties to show their overall preparation and campaign in this election. They invited only Awami League from Bangladesh.
BJP has been in power for a long time in India. On the other hand, Awami League under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina has been running the state consistently with absolute victory in four consecutive national elections in Bangladesh. During this period, there was a breakthrough development in Bangladesh under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina. This development surprised the whole world.
Sayem Khan, Deputy Secretary of Awami League, said that it is significant that only Awami League was invited by the ruling party of India among the political parties of Bangladesh.
He said that India, the world’s largest democracy, is confident in Bangladesh Awami League and Sheikh Hasina’s leadership and considers Awami League as one of the most important institutions in South Asia and their true friend.
In the invitation letter sent to Bangladesh Awami League, they requested to send a representative on behalf of Awami League to monitor BJP’s election preparations and campaign.
In view of this invitation, as a representative of Awami League, the party’s information and research secretary and member of Parliament. Salim Mahmud has been nominated by Awami League President to visit India.
This tour is basically five days. From 1 to 5 May. During this visit, Awami League representatives are meeting with senior BJP leaders.
BJP will take Awami League representative to Chhattisgarh to showcase BJP’s election campaign outside Delhi. Elections in India started on April 19 and will continue till June 1. The results of the polls will be announced on June 4.
