The Azerbaijani short feature film “Xatirə və Xəta” was awarded at the Northeast India International Film Festival, which was held in Mumbai (India) in the category “Best Feature Film”. The scriptwriter and director of the film, Jalaladdin Gasimov, told Trend about this, Day.Az reports.

The film is dedicated to doctors, police officers and journalists fighting the coronavirus. The film tells the story of the relationship between a traffic police officer and a doctor, who have been friends since childhood, but a quarrel occurs between them. A policeman once fines his friend, and then his son, for not wearing a seat belt. The doctor is offended by this. Some time passes, and the doctor’s son gets into a serious accident in which two people die, and only he remains alive because he was wearing a seat belt. And only then does the doctor realize his mistake…
