The start of this phase was made possible thanks to the commitment of the authorities of this locality who ensured the mobilization of a large fleet made up of machines of all kinds, in order to accelerate the demolition phase. buildings declared by the joint commission for establishing earthquake damage to be unsuitable for housing or presenting a potential danger for citizens.

The residents whose architectural plan and topographical survey have been established and whose reconstruction aid has been provided have begun the re-building work under the meticulous eye of the local authorities who, through the joint commissions, ensure support and control of the conformity of construction materials as well as compliance with the standards already established by the architect.

Approached by the MAP, a number of residents of this locality having already started the work of digging the foundations of their homes, expressed their great satisfaction with the efforts undertaken by the local authorities with a view to facilitating the steps relating to the phase of re-edification, expressing their deep gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for the High Solicitude, with which the Sovereign continues to surround the populations of the areas affected by the earthquake.

It should be remembered that the local authorities set about processing some 3,000 complaints submitted by families affected by the earthquake, within the framework of the joint commissions in charge of identifying damaged buildings at the time when the granting operations reconstruction assistance continues in 15 agencies approved at the provincial level.
