The champion’s coach, Barak Becher, spoke at the pre-match press conference which was broadcast live here on ONE.
Barak Bakr opened by saying: “There is no doubt that the first game has a great significance, both in the way it looks and in what you are going to see. Of course we’re going to play against a good home team, but we really believe that everything is open, it’s a game for the whole pot, like a kind of cup final and we believe that everything can happen here.”
The coach continued: “We take everything into account, it is clear to us that we are coming to a game that can develop in all kinds of directions, the first game also started in a bad way and we slowly got into the game. It is certain that Olympiakos did not expect to defend close to 70 minutes. We would like to do things and react according to developments in the game, anything can happen.”
On the home atmosphere that is planned: “There are players here who have been through something in football, who have played in full stadiums outside as well. When you want to do something big, you have to know how to deal with that too, and come and play our game.”
Regarding the fear of penalties, Bachar said: “We trained on penalties.” The coach was also asked about the injury situation of Omar Atzili and the condition of Bogdan Palanich: “Palanich is with us, everything is with us, there is nothing new.
