Karachi: Pakistan captain Babar Azam has set a new batting record with a smashing century in the Karachi Cricket Test (Australia vs Australia, 2nd Test) against Australia. Babur, who scored 196 in the second innings of the second Test against Australia, and Mohammad Rizwan, who scored an unbeaten century, struggled to level the score.
Babur, who scored 196, missed out on a four – run double century, but set a new world record behind the legends. Babur’s 196 against Australia today is the captain’s highest score in the fourth innings of a Test. Baber broke the 185-run record set by England captain Michael Atherton against South Africa in 1995.
