Yukai Engineering Unveils Baby FuFu: A Portable Fan Designed for Strollers

A new portable fan for babies, Baby FuFu, was revealed by Yukai Engineering at CES 2026, building on the success of their popular Mirumi robot and existing drink-cooling device. The innovative gadget aims to provide a safe and convenient cooling solution for infants while on the go.

From Drink Coolers to Baby Comfort

Yukai Engineering, known for its uniquely designed robots and gadgets, is expanding its product line with a focus on practical solutions for families. Baby FuFu originated from feedback received by customers of the company’s Nekojita FuFu, a smaller, similar device initially designed to keep beverages cool. According to a company representative, users reported their children enjoyed interacting with the Nekojita FuFu, pretending to fan themselves and even “blow-dry” their hair, sparking the idea for a dedicated baby fan.

Safety and Design Prioritized

Safety is paramount in the design of Baby FuFu. The fan blades are completely concealed behind a slit plate, preventing even the smallest fingers from accessing them. The fan’s design incorporates cat-like “hands” and “feet” that securely latch onto stroller handles, allowing parents to easily position the airflow. Users can adjust the fan’s direction to target the child’s face or other areas, with three airflow settings controlled by a single button. The device is conveniently rechargeable via USB-C.

Launch Details and Broader Product Ecosystem

Yukai Engineering anticipates launching Baby FuFu in mid-2026, with a projected price point between $50 and $60. The new fan will complement the company’s existing portfolio, including the “shy” Mirumi charm robot. The Mirumi robot’s crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, which has already surpassed $250,000 in funding, is scheduled to conclude on January 22.

This latest innovation demonstrates Yukai Engineering’s commitment to creating playful and functional products that address everyday needs, further solidifying its position as a leader in the consumer robotics and gadget space.
