ARD has announced when the fourth season of the successful series “Babylon Berlin” will finally be shown on free TV.

From October 1, 2023, the twelve episodes of the fourth season of the hit series “Babylon Berlin” will be shown on free TV for the first time. It starts at 8:15 p.m. with the first four episodes. On October 2nd, also at 8:15 p.m., the next four episodes will be shown. The last four will then be broadcast on October 3rd and 4th at 10:00 p.m.

Fans can watch the season even earlier in the online media library: the episodes will be available there from September 29th. The first three seasons will also be posted online a few weeks beforehand. The fourth season of “Babylon Berlin” celebrated its TV premiere on pay channel Sky (Wow) on October 8 last year.

Stars from previous seasons are back

Once again, actors Volker Bruch (43) as Gereon Rath and Liv Lisa Fries (32) as Charlotte Ritter are the focus of attention. Benno Fürmann (51), Hannah Herzsprung (41), Fritzi Haberlandt (47), Meret Becker (54) and numerous other stars from previous episodes can also be seen again.

Season four is about the American Abraham Goldstein, who has returned to Berlin to find a jewel stolen from his father. The story is based on the novel “Goldstein” by Volker Kutscher (60).
